The North Santiam Canyon Economic Development Corporation (NSCEDC) is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation organized to promote the economic, social and educational environment of the North Santiam Canyon communities as guided by the North Santiam Canyon Strategic Plan. We serve the communities of Lyons, Mehama, Little North Fork/Elkhorn Valley, Mill City, Gates, Detroit, Idanha, Breitenbush, and Marion Forks.

We work with local governments, businesses and organizations as well as with various county, state and federal agencies to develop linkages and cooperative opportunities, finding viable solutions to local needs.

We are a project driven organization, currently focusing on 3 projects:

GROW North Santiam – supporting local entrepreneurship and fostering small business success.

Employment/Business Assistance – providing local employment and business assistance resources.

Canyon Journeys – Developing safe transportation linkages and recreational opportunities.

We are located in downtown Mill City at 228 SW Broadway.

 

Our office hours are Monday, Thursday, Friday, 10:00am – 2:00pm; Wednesday 1:00pm – 5:00pm, other times by appointment.
